LSW, Therapist
Hello! My name is Gina and I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and earned my Masters in Social Work from Temple University. I have a wide range of experience working with individuals of all ages with various concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-image, eating disorders, life transitions and difficulty with adjustment. I also have extensive experience working with clients with substance abuse issues.
Approach to Therapy
As a therapist, I believe we all have untapped resilience. My focus is to treat each client based on their individualized goals, with the client leading the way as the expert in their own life. Client-centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are my primary treatment modalities. A collaborative, trustworthy relationship is the foundation of our work together. Finding a therapist you feel is a good match can be overwhelming. I believe that one of the most valuable aspects of therapy is the therapeutic relationship built together; as your experience will be heavily influenced by the safety and trust you feel during your time with me. I create a safe space where you feel comfortable and supported. I look forward to connecting with you on your journey to achieve your goals!
