Empowering Everyone to a Bright Future. That’s our motto, and we strive to live up to it.
Valley Counseling Center was born from a belief that identifying and addressing mental and behavioral issues early can prevent more serious issues later and improve the overall health and wellness of the entire community. Our philosophy is to create a positive environment where everyone – children, teens, young adults, adults and families – can receive therapeutic services to nurture a lifetime of learning. We aim to have meaningful partnerships with our local schools and community resources to provide valuable information for families throughout our community. We believe this will lead to healthy, positive relationships and great future health and wellness.
We want to eliminate the stigma that is attached to mental health issues. When you’re physically sick or need a check-up, you go to a doctor. So why should it be any different to see a therapist when you are struggling with mental health? We support our community by raising awareness of how therapy can enhance success for everyone throughout their lifetimes.
We believe in a positive therapeutic environment, so we provide an up-beat, fun, and professional atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and gives you a warm, relaxing therapeutic space. We strive to be family-friendly while also providing the best possible experience for everyone.
We believe in continuous learning (look close at the logo!), both for you and our team. We support continuing education for all of our team so they are aware of the latest research, practices, and technology. You can be assured that while you’re on a journey to learn and improve, our team is doing the same! We are always making sure we are using the best techniques, tailored to you.
